Global Trading, Inc. is a family owned business. The Price family has processed frozen fruits in Mexico since the early 1940's. We are the only American-owned and managed Strawberry processor in Mexico. Supervision is maintained from the growing fields to our processing plants to the delivery of our fruits to our customers.
Most of our business is contract work for major food companies. We pack for bakers, ice cream companies, distributors, flavor companies, and preservers. We offer whole, sliced, diced, and IQF fruits. Our IQF tunnel is the most modern in the industry. We also process stabilized and hot-packed fruits to customers with those requirements.
A substantial portion of our production is distributed around the world, primarily to the markets in the United States and Asia. We have the knowledge to meet the rigid specifications expected by our customers. During our production seasons, supervisory personnel from many of our customers inspect our work. We welcome and encourage our customer's presence at our plants.
As owners of these plants and as the sellers of the production, our customers have direct communication with the source of their supply and do not have to communicate through agents. This is a unique relationship in Mexico and a significant benefit to our customers.
