Directly adjacent to Aurora’s organic dairy farm is our new state-of-the-art milk packaging plant, the first milk plant in America that combines both pasteurized and ultra-pasteurized milk processing in a certified organic system. The proximity of the plant to the dairy speeds the time from “cow to carton” and eliminates the significant cost of inbound transportation. The result is higher quality, fresher and less expensive organic milk. Another benefit of the Aurora system is control. Aurora employees control every part of this system, rather than delegating control to co-packers and contract farmers. Aurora’s ability to control the entire system directly leads to greater dedication and focus to customer needs.
