The Barcelona Nut Company roasted it's first peanut in 1924. It all started in a small Baltimore nut shop by an immigrant from Barcelona, Spain.
Today, the Barcelona Nut Company is a multi-million dollar snack food manufacturer operating out of two facilities in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. At Barcelona we buy directly from the farmers/growing fields, roast in 100% peanut oil, utilize a nitrogen flush packing system and deliver direct to your business, within days of receiving your order. Barcelona products are distributed nationally via full service distributors/wholesalers and are merchandised in convenience stores and supermarkets.
Barcelona® fresh roasted peanuts are enjoyed in both America and National League baseball parks; such as the Philadelphia Phillies and the Baltimore Orioles.
