The person who runs our factory knows cream, from experience as a farmer and a manager in a dairy as well as through 25 years of experience as an ice cream maker. In his view, paying extra for 40% cream...the richest kind...makes a more flavorful, creamier ice cream. The richer the cream, the more flavor you get from our ingredients.
The ingredients we use are the best we can buy. We try to use as many natural flavorings as possible, and it's our policy to be a little more generous with our ribbons and add-ins like cookies, nuts, fruit and chocolate chips. This means there's more flavor in every bite.
Our cream is slowly vat pasteurized, not flash-heated in a high temperature, heat exchanger. It takes extra time and costs more, but preserves the unique flavor of our Wisconsin cream. That's why the result tastes so fresh!
