Mario De Francesco, Sr., founder of De Francesco & Sons, Inc., built the company on the philosophy that developing long-term personal relationships with our customers is the only way to meet or exceed their expectations. This philosophy has worked well for over 30 years.
Many things set us apart from our competition. One of the most important to our customers is the fact that we can ship product to them on the same day it's ordered.
We grow 100 percent of our product in the USA. We never blend our product with foreign, imported material. We do grow a small percentage of onions and garlic on our own land, and outside contract growers do the rest. We provide our growers with the seed, and to ensure quality we plant and harvest the crop with our own, specially designed equipment.
Our field department, whose members have an average of 10 years experience, visit our fields on a regular basis. At the peak of our season, we employ 400-450 people.
Our seven dehydrated vegetable products include: onion, toasted onion, garlic, roasted garlic, parsley, red beets, and asparagus. We ship these products to the following countries: U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, South Africa, Finland, Brazil, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Malaysia, Columbia, Netherlands, Denmark, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, and Indonesia.
