In 1936, Gertrude Hawk began making chocolates in the kitchen of her Dunmore, PA home to help support her family. Church groups began raising money by selling her chocolates, and her reputation for creating delicious home-made candy was established.
Gertrude Hawk Chocolates is dedicated to creating the most delicious gourmet chocolates, which include dark chocolate, chocolate covered cherries, chocolate covered pretzels and truffles.
