The mission of the College of Education and Health Sciences at Bradley University is to prepare leaders within the human service professions. Food, Nutrition & Dietetics
In considering foods, nutrition, and dietetics as a major, you're exploring an important area of study and work. In some ways, it may be one of the most important, because food, its nutritional composition and its place in the economy and in our lives is critical.
You'll be prepared for a wide range of career options. Careers in health care, fitness, food service, product development, food marketing, communication, and business consulting are just some of the choices, and many of them offer a bright outlook in this decade. Job opportunities in marketing, for instance, are expected to grow by as much as 36 percent between 2000 and 2010; jobs in food service management are expected to keep pace with the economy.
The program is approved by the Commission on Accreditation/Approval for Dietetics Education of The American Dietetic Association.
