Kenny's Candy began operations in 1987 in Perham, Minnesota as a producer of Bulk Red, Black, and Chocolate licorice items for bulk licorice customers and rebaggers across the country.
Today, Kenny's Candy remains located in Perham, MN and operates out of a 52,000 square foot facility. All production, warehousing, and shipping are done from this facility.
Along with producing Bulk licorice items, Kenny's also packs licorice products for a number of Private Label customers and Rebaggers. However, our owner Ken Nelson felt that if we were to grow as a business, Kenny's Candy needed to develop its own label and products.
In 1995, Kenny's Candy began developing other flavors of licorice items. Today, under our "JUICY TWIST" label, Kenny's produces 17 different varieties and flavors of licorice items.
Over the past 8 years, Kenny's Candy has carved out a very nice niche within the licorice category. By focusing on our "JUICY TWIST" concept, Kenny's Candy has grown within the licorice category and currently is the #3 producer of branded licorice items in North America.
