The Food Science and Nutrition program prepares students for direct employment
in the food industry, government regulatory agencies, or further graduate studies.
The Department of Food Science and Nutrition at Chapman University welcomes students nationwide and overseas. Chapman University is one of the few institutions in this country that offers a specialized curriculum designed to train the professional food and nutrition specialists of tomorrow. What makes our program unique is the approach between faculty members and students. The highly individualized environment through small classes gives students better understanding of the subjects.
The close relationship that the university maintains with the food industry through internship and cooperative education programs provides our students with valuable work experience to complement academic learning.
