Faced with his former employer's news of corporate takeover and a subsequent job offer as VP with the new entity, Terrence Hall decided to take his 30 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, and start his own venture. Terry gathered the necessary funds, put his experience to the test, involved his family, and opened California Custom Fruits and Flavors, Inc.
Terry called upon his experience in R&D and Microbiological laboratories, and formulated the first fruit products sold by California Custom Fruits and Flavors. Soon after, a top-notch product development and quality control team was put together in order to solidify a reputation for technical expertise, quality and consistency. Eventually, CCFF's "cut above the rest" fruit products garnered large contracts with major grocery and food companies around the world.
California Custom Fruits and Flavors moved into a 86,000 square foot building 10 miles east of Pasadena, California in 2003, at which time the production department was outfitted with the latest technology and equipment. With low corporate overhead and the availability of fruit from local sources the company is able to position itself as a "low cost supplier" without sacrificing quality. In the office as well as production California Custom Fruits and Flavors has continued to move and improve.
