| 1. Interfaces with Supply Chain Engineering and Supply Chain Management in the development and evaluation of new and improved processes leading to lower cost and Gold Standard quality products. 2. Manages and coordinates with all Innovation confections groups to conduct speciality runs and trial sample runs for the development of specifications and process parameters. 3. Interfaces with Global Procurement in identification and specifications of commercially available equipment to be tested and evaluated at the ETC facility and outside the company. 4. Keep abreast of advanced confectionary equipment available in the industry. 5. Interfaces with the ETC facility management team on projects within the 100,000 square foot testing and development facility. 6. Develop engineering and process specifications to execute the engineering innovation-related projects, including execution and management of the budget. 7. Preparation and management of project schedule in terms of launching new products and engineering project execution. 8. Perform necessary engineering calculations to insure equipment or process design requirements are achieved. 9. Prepare required bid documents and cost estimates for required process and equipment installations. 10. Resolves standard and non-standard problems on a day-to-day basis and addresses long term issues with innovative solutions. 11. Together with developers, engineers, and engineering management, coordinates in sharing technology and finding solutions to help resolve problems that affect research, development and production globally. 12. Lead engineering team on the installation, start-up and validation of first-time prototype equipment or process in Supply Chain factories globally.
