Hero/Beech-Nut was founded as a family business over 100 years ago in Canajoharie, New York. Originally, we focused on producing food products from meat and jam to peanut butter and coffee. In 1931, we began making baby food and now, baby food is all we produce. Since then, we have grown to employ more than 350 individuals in our Canajoharie and Fort Plain, NY facilities.
Hero/Beech-Nut, a subsidiary of Hero Group, Inc., is in the process of developing a new 550,000-square-foot facility in the Town of Florida, NY.
The new site will be the corporate headquarters for Hero/Beech-Nut and the North American headquarters for Hero Group.
