Facilities
Dewafelbakkers' plant is located in North Little Rock, Arkansas near the intersection of Interstate 40 and 430, which provides easy access for distribution from coast to coast. Our building was built in 1994 and expanded in 1999 to the present size of 55,000 square feet including freezer and refrigerated space of 10,000 square feet. The facility is positioned on a 15 acre tract for future expansion.

Our multi-line production floor uses the latest automated processing equipment available in the industry. Production activity is supported by bulk storage and automatic handling equipment where possible.

Our distribution system utilizes flow through racking in the 10 below holding freezer with 24 hour shipping and receiving capabilities. Orders are received via EDI and can be invoiced via EDI, immediately after shipment.

Quality Assurance
All employees of Dewafelbakkers are responsible for assuring that the company's quality standards are met. Raw materials, processing and packaging are continually checked to assure the production of waffles, pancakes and French toast with consistent flavor, texture, purity and nutrient content. We utilize a HACCP program to prevent contamination of any of our products and a trace recall program to assure that any problems that may occur are strictly controlled.

We have achieved a Superior Rating from the American Institute of Baking for the last six years. In addition, our plant has attained a listing in the Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments for Armed Forces Procurement.
