A SWEET BEGINNING - Sure Winner Food’s Story began in 1979 with the creative innovation and collaboration of three Aroostook county businessmen. Brother’s Richard and Robert Irving and Richard’s son, Mark, purchased a former H.P. Hood Facility in Presque Isle Maine. With two delivery trucks and determination, the founders of Sure Winner Foods stood steadfast with a strong mission.
The Sure Winner warehouses currently stock a complete line of over 1500 ice cream and frozen items, and our fleet of modern, low temperature trucks ensures the timely delivery of consistently high quality products from over 40 different manufacturers.
Today, Sure Winner Foods operates additional facilities in Bangor, Presque Isle, and Saco, Maine; Burlington, Vermont; Lebanon, New Hampshire; Pittsfield, Massachusetts; Harrisburg, and Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; and Buffalo and Syracuse, New York. We have the technology and capability of meeting the needs of our retail and food service customers in virtually every town in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Northern Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania.
