Paramount Citrus, a subsidiary of Roll International, has been in operation in California since the early 1950’s, operating under the current ownership since 1981.
We are the largest grower, packer, and shipper of fresh citrus in the United States. Our vision is to remain the leader in the industry, setting the standard for performance, and to be the industry’s premier citrus supplier to our customers. We are able to accomplish these goals and maintain a successful strategic advantage in the industry by operating a vertically integrated business from the field to the customer and through application of Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
In our Farming division we currently operate in excess of 30,000 acres of citrus in the San Joaquin Valley, Ventura County, and Mexico which includes oranges, lemons and Clementines. Our Operations Division includes three state- of-the-art orange/lemon processing facilities in Delano and Visalia, California and in Mexico. These three facilities provide Paramount Citrus with the ability to process approximately 16 million cartons (320,000 tons) annually that are shipped throughout North America and the Far East.
In addition to our core business, Paramount Citrus also farms an additional 10,000 acres through its S&J Farm Management subsidiary including citrus, nuts and other permanent crops.
Roll International is a privately owned company. Other subsidiaries include Paramount Farms Inc., Paramount Farming Co., POM Wonderful, Fiji Water, and Teleflora.
