Maintenance |

Johnsonville maintenance members are instrumental in keeping machines, lines and facilities running, so our members can keep making our great-tasting sausage products. Maintenance members are responsible for all our production machines and may also manage our industrial refrigeration machinery and operate as Industrial electricians or maintenance controls technicians. They work closely with our engineers and production members to make important upgrades to our production machinery. Johnsonville sanitation members play an important role in ensuring our facilities are cleaned to meet Johnsonville’s high sanitation and food-safety standards. Administrative Support Team
At Johnsonville, members of the Administrative Support Team are viewed as adding world-class value to all teams and members we support; thus, ensuring the success of all those we support. EHS3 - Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Sustainability
EHS3 at Johnsonville is responsible for leading all environmental, health, safety, security and sustainability efforts for the company. This includes ensuring Johnsonville Sausage remains a great steward of the environment by adhering to all applicable regulations and adopting sound practices. Occupational health and safety is paramount at Johnsonville Sausage, ensuring our workplace is safe for our members, visitors and contractors by implementing world-class safety practices and meeting or exceeding all applicable safety regulations and rules. Sustainability is the overarching principle within the EHS3 department at Johnsonville. Johnsonville and its members believe environmental management and occupational safety and health are two main legs of sustainability, in addition to developing sustainable development concepts.
Engineering
One of the primary functions Johnsonville's Engineering team performs is creating capacity. As we are growing and the need arises to add or modify a production line, a process, or even a facility, that's when Engineering steps in. We are, as are all Johnsonville members, responsible for improving each of our existing processes. We do this by introducing or developing new technologies to help us achieve those improvements. We also act as a resource for all our internal customers' technical needs. While doing these activities, we are technically growing each of our Engineering members so they can be more successful. We do all this while having a BLAST and living the Johnsonville Way!!
Finance
The finance team partners with the business in reporting, planning and analyzing our financial results, with an eye on driving exceptional financial performance. Our role in providing financial analysis for decision-making purposes positions us well to assist in developing a strong financial acumen across the organization. Additionally, the team ensures financial transactions and reporting with our business partners, members, taxing authorities and other regulatory agencies are timely, accurate and efficient. Private Fleet
Johnsonville's drivers have a huge impact on the products they deliver and the quality service they provide to our customers. Johnsonville drivers are key representatives of our organization and are viewed as high professionals. Johnsonville has high expectations for safety and compliance regulations, and our drivers are very proud of these standards. Our drivers are responsible for delivering superior products to both our internal and external customers, raw materials to our manufacturing locations, inventory to our third party logistics providers and outbound customer orders. Johnsonville allows their drivers the flexibility to choose their desired departure day, and they have from one to three days at home each week.
Purchasing Team
Johnsonville's Purchasing team is responsible for the sourcing and procurement of numerous goods and services for the company. Some of the items we source include capital goods, cuts of meat, packaging, ingredients, casings, technology-related items, and MRO goods and services. Additionally, our interaction with multi-functional teams in the development of new products makes our job a fun and exciting experience. Our team members wear many hats and work with many different people throughout the company, as well as with numerous suppliers, which makes the job experience challenging and exciting.
Research & Development
Product, Process and Packaging Development are the key activities Johnsonville's R&D team executes to maintain/improve quality of existing items, as well as develop new products. Our activities begin at procurement of raw materials and end at successful commercialization of new products. As a member of the R&D team, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technical knowledge and skills as a member of cross-functional teams charged with the challenge of bringing superior products to the marketplace. R&D is also the home of skilled project managers who are charged with leading cross-functional teams to deliver new product projects on time, on budget and to desired quality standards.
Sales
The sales team is responsible for helping our wholesale and retail customers achieve their sales and profit goals. We do this by helping our customers manage and grow their sausage categories. We work directly with our customers to set up promotions and product demonstrations, as well as to make new-item presentations. The sales team works closely with Johnsonville's Marketing and Strategic Insights & Analytics teams to develop and deliver consumer insights and category reviews that help our customers' make the best decisions. Additionally, we work closely with our broker partners to make sure strategies are fully executed from the headquarters, to the retail stores. At Johnsonville, we call this delivering HICS (Highest Impact On Customer Success).
Sensory
At Johnsonville, making sure the consumer has an exceptional product experience each and every time they eat a Johnsonville sausage is a top priority. The Sensory team measures consumer responses when they try our products, which are then translated into product insights. Cross-functional project teams use the product insights to develop the best products possible. The Sensory team also focuses on the consistency of production samples across our production facilities by measuring key attributes. The end result is continuously improving and developing superior products.
Strategic Insights & Analytics
Johnsonville's Strategic Insights and Analytics team is responsible for providing actionable consumer, category and marketplace insights that aid in (1) Helping our customers profitably grow their category; (2) Building the Johnsonville Brand; (3) Successfully delivering new products to market; and (4) Better Internal Decision Making.
Supply Chain
Johnsonville's Supply Chain team is responsible for logistics, customer service, demand planning and network inventory. Our mission as a support group is to ensure our customers receive noticeably better service, while at the same time assisting our operations in obtaining the lowest industry cost. We work closely with all our internal partners, customers and vendors to provide a seamless and hassle-free supply chain. People, process, data and continuous improvement are the keys to our success.
