• The Sensory Scientist will conduct all aspects of sensory and shelf life testing on a global basis in order to provide product and consumer insights to the company.
• Works as a Business Partner, providing cross-functional support to project teams by designing, executing, analyzing, and reporting results of all test types.
• Provides sensory and shelf life program support in order to maintain department functions.
• Trains panelists.
• Documents protocols and procedures,
• Manages all aspects of a trained panel or functional program
• May be responsible for supplier approval
• Works in on development and implementation of new testing methodologies and/or opportunities for research on research
• Applies general knowledge of statistics as it applies to test design and data analysis
• Applies general knowledge of food chemistry, packaging, and product development as it applies to sensory and shelf life testing.

Requirements

• BS in Food Science or Related Field
• 3+ years experience or MS in Sensory or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of industry or a PhD Fresh Grad
