Job Description

BACKGROUND:

  • Must have a four year degree - BS prefer Engineering
  • Need 3+ years experience as a Project Engineer/ Manager in a consumer goods company (preferably food)
  • Must have experience with high speed packaging and automated systems
  • Candidate should have good communication and computer skills
  • Proven competency in planning, budgeting, schedule tracking and managing cost control
  • Prefer experience with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / similar
  • Leadership style should be that of a coach and leader
  • No job hoppers
  • Prefer someone open to future relocation for promotional opportunities

POSITION:

Will report directly to Engineering and Technology Manager through the next year. Duties include: optimizing system designs, maintenance and operations processes; satisfying all safety concerns; and providing a short and long range planning perspective with respect to people, facilities and equipment. In addition, project work that will be necessary to effect improvements in the areas of People, Quality, Customer Service, Cost and New Products and Processes.

SALARY: Up to $115K + Bonus
