Job Description
America's largest baker and producer of leading brands, including Wonder Bread and Hostess Cake, is seeking a proven professional to join our Research and Development team.

PRIMARY PURPOSE Maintain ingredient, nutrition, and allergen information in Genesis labeling system. Maintain and update supplier ingredient, nutritional, and allergen specifications in Regulatory files. Provide back-up on product labeling and change request processing.

PRINCIPAL ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain ingredient, nutrition, and allergen information in the Genesis labeling system.

Maintain up-to-date files of suppliers’ ingredient specifications including ingredient legends, nutrition information, Kosher status, food allergens, and allergen cross-contact information.

Scan suppliers’ ingredient specifications for electronic access

Monitor ingredients for allergens and advise management of changes.

Provide Regulatory related labeling and specification information for assigned Private Label Accounts

Provide back-up in generating accurate labeling information for packaging materials to insure compliance with FDA regulations

Review requested changes to SAP including ingredient, formula, and finished good information

Assist in mass labeling updates mandated by FDA

Review packaging for accuracy of ingredient and nutrition information and UPC when needed

Write and maintain standard operating procedures for Regulatory tasks

Assist on special projects and analysis as needed
