Good Source Solutions, located in beautiful Carlsbad California, is a growing company specializing in foodservice sales, manufacturing and distribution. We market and distribute products to correctional facilities, schools, relief organizations and non-profit organizations. We are a cutting edge leader in our field with an outstanding reputation!

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain/Business Manager to join our team. The candidate will be managing a new business which sells food products to churches, senior communities and food banks. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain management role, ideally within the food industry, and have a good understanding of all the disciplines within Supply Chain management.

This unique and challenging position requires a dynamic self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment! This person will report directly to the CEO and will have a wide array of responsibilities, including:

• Supply Chain management o Forecast food requirements based on feedback from sales reps o Plan purchase requirements working closely with procurement in a matrix organization o Schedule receipts into warehouse on a JIT basis and manage inventory levels, shrinkage and obsolescence o Develop production requirements and shipping schedule working closely with assembly and shipping operations to maximize customer service to our customers o Review prior months sales, cost of sales, shipping and admin costs to identify opportunities to improve profitability o Audit all operations to assure quality standards are upheld and recommend changes o Overall business/project management for recurring monthly business cycle

• Development of profitable menus working with marketing and Sales Reps o Work with sales reps to develop profitable menu items maximizing value to customers o Coordination with purchasing group to forecast raw material needs, profit targets and specific target inventory levels by item / category o Working with marketing to upload and monitor web-based menus
