Job Description
Requirements: BS/MS Food Science or culinary degree. Must have laminated dough formulation experience as well as full cycle development experience including commercialization. Plant experience would be a plus. This position will be on of two “Scientist” level positions. There is one other scientist currently on staff along with several product development technologists. This person needs to be technically sound. There will be between 25-50% travel mostly to plants in Texas or Minnesota. This position will work closely with sales. Best formulates products based on customer request, not for markets. This position will interface with customers. Must be flexible, able to multitask, handle interruptions, juggle multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-pace environment. This job will involve working with a fairly small group full of different personalities.
Duties: Formulation of dough products per customer specification. This would include conceptualization as well as reformulation. This position works closely with the sales department. This is a straight forward product development position that will take on many different tasks depending on needs.
