Job Description
-Develop Label Requirement Documents (LRs) containing all government required label information. -Review and approve product mechanicals in compliance with government and company requirements. -Contact suppliers for ingredient information related to subcomponents and functionality. -Coordinate and maintain Kosher certification process. -Maintain bioterrorism registration information. -Issues LRs to plants and manage department website. -Interpret government regulation and apply to our products (reading comprehension of legal documents, and attention to detail). -Determine nutrition content at different serving sizes (basic math skills required). -Maintain product information across several departmental databases (organization and follow through). -Manage several projects at once (organizational and prioritization skills). -Ability to work quickly with accuracy.
