Cargill Meat Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Supervisor. This position is responsible for the day-to-day technical services activities including monitoring and enforcing food safety and quality standards throughout the facility. This position is responsible for supervising approximately 1 technicians in the processing plant on 3rd shift. Other responsibilities include contacting raw material suppliers about quality issues and helping to determine dispositions when food safety or quality problems occur.
Qualifications Required:
Two or four year college or technical degree/certificate and/or equivalent job experience in a related field Knowledge of HACCP Strong communication skills Strong decision making skills Basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) computer skills
Preferred:
A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience Experience in the meat processing industry
