Cargill Meat Solutions has an opportunity available for a Quality Assurance Technical Services Supervisor located in our Brampton, Ontario. This position is responsible for: supervising the day-to-day safe and efficient management of Quality systems of the facility. Accountabilities: Raw material and Finished goods Ensuring maximization of Technician availability Optimizing product quality, managing product specifications; monitoring, measurement and communication of raw material specification needs Enforcing product quality and processing requirements; Coaching and developing the hourly personnel to be the best at what they do and having people readily available to perform multiple tasks throughout the facility Overseeing Technical Services activities including the daily scheduling and prioritizing of the workload Administering company policies and procedures

Qualifications Retail meat experience Ability to thoughtfully and thoroughly communicate with the customer Experience in Technical Services, Operations Problem Solving/Decision Making Skills Excellent People Skills Time Management Abilities to lead, direct, instruct and coach personnel Computer skills with knowledge of Excel/Cargill Inc. supplied software including: Microsoft Excel, Plant floor systems, Microsoft word, Maximo Accounting, budgeting and expense management Risk communication skill and ability
