Job Description
Power Packaging, an Exel Company, is a premier provider of manufacturing and packaging services to America's finest food companies. We are looking for a top-notch Plant Manager for our Dry Foods plant based in Grand Prairie, TX.

We are looking for a talented Plant Manager to help run our operations and maximize our performance in our 250,000 sq ft Dry Foods facility. Take charge of a high performing, talented and established team that will drive success in the delivery of our safety, quality, production and financial goals.

The ideal candidate would have 10+ years of management/supervisory experience in roles of increasing responsibility with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in operating a plant. Ability to lead, coach, manage and develop a management team including Quality Assurance, Materials Management, Maintenance and Production across three shifts with 6 direct reports with approximately 200 employees. Candidate should be computer literate with the ability to use and manipulate Excel spreadsheets. PowerPoint and presentation skills are necessary as this position interacts frequently with our customer base. Candidate should have strong P&L budgeting and planning experience along with excellent communication skills. Ideal candidate would have food manufacturing or copack background that involves blending, mixing, filling and packaging processes. Knowledge of GMP, AIB, FPA-Safe, FDA requirements is essential. Bi-lingual ability (Spanish) also a plus. A degree and experience with Lean or Six Sigma in a manufacturing environment is highly desired.
