Description
- Performs tasks associated with general production, shipping or sanitation duties
Tasks could included:
- Stack and remove pans to and from conveyor belts as needed
- Align product on conveyor
- Remove product from conveyor and places on racks
- Load and unload racks to/from trailer
- Place plastic baskets and trays on conveyor belts
- Clean work area, floors, lights, windows, ceilings, rest rooms, break rooms, product racks, equipment, and grounds in various areas of plant
- Dispose of trash and transports bins to dumpster
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery
- Paint various areas within plant for touch up or spot work
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and/or on-the-job experience needed - Requires high school diploma, or equivalent
Industry-specific knowledge, skills & abilities needed - General understanding of manufacturing environment a plus
Functional/Job-Related knowledge, skills & abilities needed - Must have reliable transportation, be able to work days, nights, weekdays, weekends, holidays and willing to work overtime when needed
- Problem Identification & Resolution – Ability to identify problems and communicate issues to appropriate contact
- Team Dynamics – Ability to work effectively with co-workers
- Quality Focus – Ability to examine product to verify conformance to company standards.

Ability to read, write, see, hear, communicate, add and subtract, understand instructions, basic mathematics, ability to run equipment with computers, ability to use tools, ability to work at a rapid pace
