Reliability Engineer The Reliability Engineer directs the activities of and establishes the maintenance course of action for bargaining unit employees within the support area. Coordinates planned maintenance initiatives and serves as a resource to support teams pertaining to troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical problems. Provides leadership, coaching and technical expertise as needed to support World Class Manufacturing Maintenance practices/initiatives. Manages maintenance work backlog and facilitates maintenance meetings. Oversees the proper utilization of the workorder system (scheduling, prioritization and generation).

Must be willing to work off-shifts and weekends as needed. A four year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field of study and 2 - 3 years maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (ideally unionized). Previous experience with high speed packaging equipment. Experience with asset management/asset care, reliability centered maintenance, predictive and preventative maintenance techniques. Previous experience with hydraulic, pneumatics, solid state components and systems. PLC programming, ModBus Plus and modicon. Formal failure and root cause analysis.
