Key Tasks:

• Directs plant employment activities, assuring that properly qualified employees are recruited and hired for company positions. Coordinate post-offer employment physical and drug/alcohol screen process to include ID verification process.

• Administer company programs and policies.

• Ensure all plant HR functions are conducted in compliance with Federal, State and Local employment guidelines.

• Maintains good public relations status with various civic and welfare organizations and business people in the community regarding personnel functions.

• Coordination of plant employee safety, health, security and benefits programs.

• Conducts research into personnel programs and activities and recommends changes or innovations when desirable.

• Audits the safety training programs.

• Conducts safety audits of unsafe acts and conditions for all personnel in plant.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience and training - Prior "hands-on" HR and Safety experience in a management capacity is required, minimum of 5 years preferred.

• Education - Degree or applicable experience.

• Proficient in computers, HR data systems, spreadsheet applications. Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
