Cargill Meat Solutions has an exciting opportunity available for a Payroll Assistant, in our processing facility in Albert Lea, MN. This is a clerical management position. This position is responsible for ensuring that payroll and vacation processing is done accurately and in a timely manner. This position will also require cross training in other Human Resources administration functions. Principle Accountabilities: Accurate keying and processing of daily and weekly Kronos Processing vacations (full weeks, single days, personal holidays, and pay in advance vacations) File paperwork as needed Train and develop supervisors on how to do on-line Kronos Review absences to ensure ee's are using all vacation time and personal holidays when they go on PLOA Process garnishments as needed Returned W-2 distribution Union deduction register review and ensure it is accurate and up to date All processes related to EE ID's (new hire, damaged, lost) Hours summary report to accounting Assist employees with HR Direct Update plant seniority list on a weekly basis

Qualifications Communication Skills Organizational skills Knowledge of KRONOS and Peoplesoft applications. Ability to work with others in a diverse work environment Basic knowledge of the union contract and company handbook Basic knowledge of company sponsored benefit packages Ability to assist and educate ee's on our policies
