America's largest baker and producer of leading brands, including Wonder Bread and Hostess Cake, is seeking a proven professional to join our Research and Development team.

PRINCIPAL ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Insure compliance with FDA regulations by reviewing product formulas and generating accurate labeling information for packaging materials.

Track and confirm accuracy of labeling information for special brands.

Review current nutrition contents and health claims on food packaging for regulatory issues. Make recommendations for changes and/or corrections.

Track allergens, colors, sulfites, and other sensitive compounds in ingredients and products. Update CSIMS Database when necessary.

Track private label UPC’s

Participate in business recovery exercises during recalls. Assist in conducting corporate initiated mock recalls.

Assist in maintaining the mass label updates mandated by FDA (trans fat).
