Job Description
Duties: -Functions at autonomous level with minimal supervision. –Performs tasks that are highly complex in nature on a regular basis. –Provides supervision and leadership to less senior members within the department. –Implements processes and procedures within assigned technical areas of responsibility. –Assists in direction of day to day activities and managing staff within assigned areas of responsibility. –Assists in designing department processes and procedures. –Gathers and studies data to understand trends and issues and to make decisions related to product safety and quality in areas of assigned responsibility. –Advises others in the organization on matters of a technical nature. –Develops metrics to measure effectiveness/progress in designated areas. –Provides regulatory compliance, food safety and quality of the company’s products. -Evaluates effectiveness and assures continuous improvement in assigned areas of responsibility.
