Responsible for ensuring safety, production and quality by ensuring operation of mechanical systems, apparatus and components of machinery and equipment.

Essential Duties: Repairs, troubleshoots and maintains, in accordance with operation manuals and manufacturers' specifications, machinery, and mechanical equipment.

Installs new machines and equipment by assemblying mechanical framework and mechanical drive components using hand tools and test equipment.

Must be able to use computerized work order system and account for time and materials used to carry out repairs.

Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
