Requirements: • Must be a local candidate residing in the San Francisco Bay Area • Must be a CPA or have an advanced degree in a related field • BS degree in Accounting or Finance from a 4-year university or college required • Cost accounting and manufacturing accounting experience, food industry preferred • 10+ years experience • Experience working with SAP accounting application • Strong technical accounting skills • High integrity and a strong work ethic are required • Ability to meet deadlines for closing books and financial reporting • Strong proficiency in Excel • Outstanding verbal, written communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities: • Coordinating and maintaining the companies accounting functions; including, but not limited to, accounts receivable/payable, credit and collections, payroll, inventory, fixed asset, depreciation schedule, adjusting journal entries, and general ledger • Prepare various regulatory tax filing such as business property tax return, tax credits • Coordinate and process the closing the month’s end, year end, and prepare for tax process • Reconciliation of monthly accounts, balance sheet, monthly journal entries • Prepare quarterly financials: balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports • Supervise and develop the accounting team to achieve professional capacities • Working alongside executives to develop overall budgets and forecasts • Cost savings analysis to improve production efficiency and achieve financial targets • Continued improvement and establishment of company accounting procedures/ERP to improve the efficiency, accuracy and timeliness in all department functions
