Interstate Brands Corp. is seeking a mechanic for maintenance of our diesel/gas semi-tractor and delivery fleet located in our Cincinnati, OH facility. The successful candidate must be able to maintain and complete all mechanical repairs for an established diesel fleet. This would include changing oil, brakes, clutch, etc… Excellent driving record is required; mechanics must drive the trucks as needed to effectively maintain & repair as well as conducting road tests for future applicants.
Requires high school diploma, GED equivalent or certification from an accredited school. Additional post secondary education is preferred, e.g., vocational technical environment, or experience is required.
The essential duties and responsibilities are to maintain tractors, trailers and route trucks in accordance to company and DOT regulations.
Requirements
· High school diploma, GED or equivalent or certification from an accredited school is mandatory. Additional post secondary education is preferred, e.g., vocational technical environment or experience is required.
· Class A CDL
· Two years of hands on diesel mechanic experience
· Reading, writing, seeing, hearing, eye/hand/foot coordination, and ability to comprehend instructions, in addition to ability to climb in and out of trucks.
