For more information, please visit www.dannon.com We currently have an opening for a Sr. District Sales Manager – East Coast The East Coast based Sr. District Manager will work to maximize Dannon net sales, volume and share position within outlined markets below. Achievement of these objectives will be accomplished via category leadership with assigned accounts, sound business analytics, planning, and strong broker team guidance. Additionally, this position manages head office call for assigned accounts. This responsibility includes guidance to field sales team and National account team around strategic initiatives. Responsibilities: • Broker Development - Develop sales plan to meet business objectives while operating within Dannon and corporate initiatives and guidelines • Category Management - Provide category thought leadership and insights to drive both category growth and Dannon business • Net Sales, Volume, and Share Management - Tactical programming and execution designed to achieve Dannon objectives • Fiscal Management - Manage accruals and lump sum funding budgets to provide consumer driven merchandising. Sound fiscal management of total customer spending, deduction management within Dannon's guidelines • Broker Team Guidance - Provide accurate and actionable guidance to broker sales team around account initiatives • Broker Accountability - Maximize Dannon’s position within assigned markets by attaining optimal broker performance • Sales Presentation Development - Manage the development and delivery of all account presentations QUALIFICATIONS: (A) Minimum • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years + foodservice channel experience with exposure working with distributors, brokers and operators in a management capacity, DOT Foods or other major food broker experience • Experience with Sales Discovery reporting systems • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel and Word • Strong analytical skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities (B) Desirable but not Essential • Master’s Degree We offer an excellent salary and benefits package and outstanding career advancement potential.
