Maintenance Engineering Manager DJ-19672 2008 Education: Degree/Diploma in Engineering Field, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Location: Kentucky Years Experience: 3+ years in a technical field in a food manufacturing facility Industry: Food Salary Range: Commensurate with Experience
Our client is a multi-billion dollar organization that is growing at a very fast rate in this particular location. They have expanded their Maintenance / Facility dept and are looking for a couple of great individuals who would like to be part of this team. This position is located in a very rural area, while still being close to a large city. Offers a very central location in the Midwest.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor plant and equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduction of planned and unplanned downtime. Liaise with Production, Quality and Engineering on a daily basis to resolve technical and/or operational issues. (Stoppage Analysis from Downtime Reporting System) Ensure the implementation of the company Maintenance Strategy. Facilitate the Consequence Driven Maintenance approach by supporting and coordinating the CDM teams and their studies. Ensure implementation of Asset Maintenance Management as Factory
Key Interfaces Production Management, Quality Management, Production Supervisors, Factory Engineer, Process Engineer, Industrial Services Engineer, Industrial Performance Engineer, Suppliers and Contractors. Continuous, efficient and reliable operation of the plant measured using selected KPI's from Company 1. Unplanned Downtime (Breakdown) 2. Planned vs. unplanned Maintenance 3. Line Performance Plant Maintenance meets company and regulatory requirements measured using ESAT
REQUIREMENTS: In-depth knowledge of food processing Equipment Maintenance and Technology. 1. Applicable Maintenance techniques 2. Appropriate Maintenance execution Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering.
