Job Description
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To ensure the quality and integrity of each batch of food. Reports directly to the Batch Room Supervisor and is responsible for completing all duties and tasks assigned to them before their normal work shift ends.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED Must wear earplugs, hair nets, smocks, gloves, and slip-resistant steel-toed boots.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for completing all duties and tasks assigned to him/her before his/her normal work shift ends. Signs off on safety commitments.
A) Demonstrate capability to learn procedures for all products and operate equipment in all four batching areas. Must be able to perform the primary responsibilities and general requirements of other jobs in the department. B) With the use of proper equipment, move objects weighing up to 2500 pounds. With the use of proper equipment, repetitively move and lift objects weighing from 6 to 90 pounds. C) Effective communication with other team members. D) Maintain productivity rates required throughout department. E) Safe and efficient use of appropriate tools and safety equipment as required. F) Other duties as assigned.
