Job Description
Logistics Infrastructure Development Senior Program Coordinator, reporting to the Marketing and Supply Chain Department Head.
The Logistics Infrastructure Development position will be responsible for coordinating and realizing efficiencies of existing internal and external logistics planning, including the development of new logistics infrastructure and systems.
This position will focus primarily on comprehensive development of long-term logistic strategies, creation and implementation of logistics infrastructure developments aligned with strategic business plans, and the development of supply chain programs providing cost efficient logistic processes.
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with multiple functional groups, including Operations, Sales, Finance, and Technology.
The following requirements and qualifications have been established for this position: • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, associated field or equivalent experience. • Master of Business Administration preferred. • 10+ years experience of rail logistics, truck logistics, supply chain, purchasing, or a combination of experience in these areas preferred. • Demonstrates leadership qualities: strong people-motivating skills with experience in working effectively with functional and cross-functional groups. • Logistics strategy development capability with rail transportation experience preferred. • Demonstrates strong external and internal communication skills. • Demonstrates strong statistical analysis and business financial skills. • Demonstrates high-level computer skills.
