Job Description
Project Manager • Provides packaging & process equipment engineering expertise across foodservice platforms. • Prepares traditional equipment engineering documentation such as material flow, ergonomics and line layouts, equipment specifications and bid analysis. • Executes innovation programs and studies, provides input to equipment development to leverage manufacturing capabilities for new products. • Manages major innovation and cost savings project implementation in factories
• Provides technical support for innovation programs & cost savings projects • Provide technical support and expertise for the factories • Executes technical programs and studies to optimize and standardize packaging & process equipment performance • Supports the manufacturing organization in the resolution of recurring equipment issues • Organizes and prepares specification and standards for packing & process equipment across foodservice platforms • Manages resources to support shifting workload of multiple projects . Provide technological insight to the foodsolutions business for utilization in innovation and optimization across the supply chain.
• Specifies new equipment designs and installations • Designs technical programs or studies to improve packing & process equipment systems reliability and flexibility • Works with third parties in the design and installation of equipment, ensuring compliance to standards and specifications • Works with package development and SC innovation managers in the delivery of new product innovation • Responsible for the procurement of up to $5MM for packing & process equipment on specific capital projects in year • Manages A&E resources • Interacts with Plant Engineering Managers, Plant Managers, Engineering Directors, package development engineers, SC planning managers, SC innovation managers, supply managers and packaging equipment specialists • Responsible for new project initiatives with an NPS of $100MM
Knowledge Education BS mechanical, chemical, electrical or control engineering
Experience Automated, high speed packaged goods manufacturing environment; Food processing and packaging equipment Project management experience smallar and large scale projects; innovation delivery
Skills Specific Training TPM/Continous Improvement knowledge preferred Application of Rockwell/AB automation knowledge preferred
