Night Shift Management Position
- Plan, organize and direct manpower to meet production requirements of customers, provide quality product and ensure schedules are met.
- Coach, motivate, train and effectively manage the performance of production staff.
- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance or others as appropriate to solve production-related problems.
- Ensure adherence to proper safety and sanitation regulations and policies/procedures.
- Actively identify and initiate process improvements to positively impact financial viability, service and product quality and customer satisfaction of the facility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, chemical engineering or related field.
- 2+ years hands-on, progressively responsible, supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Highly effective leadership and coaching skills, with a proven track record of success in motivating others.
- Ability and willingness to promote appropriate change and improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships at all levels and maintain a positive working environment.
- Solid computer, planning and problem-solving skills are a must.
