Job Description
Bosco’s Pizza Company produces a variety of restaurant quality, frozen food products and is seeking an experienced and innovative Manager/Director of R&D to lead their staff. In this position you will champion and manage new product development, line extensions and projects from concept to commercialization. You will identify quality or process improvements, value added new technology, cost reduction, and product and process improvements. This position also entails working in a cross-functional team within a matrix type organization. You will be responsible for the professional and technical development of R&D staff under your supervision.
Qualifications
· You will need to have a B. S. degree in Food Science or Culinary Arts with a minimum of 10 years experience. · Previous experience working with baked goods, sauces, and center-of-the-plate entrees would be very desirable. · Must have experience in operating a pilot plant/lab and have experience in commercialization of retail and institutional food products. · Experience working with high profile chain accounts and foodservice would help your candidacy.
