POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
• 4 year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience and Technical Skills • 5 years experience in Project Management • 5 years minimum of Field Experience • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD

Planning/Preparation (50%) • Plans and formulates engineering projects and organizes project staff according to project requirements. • Interprets architectural or engineering plans and prepares material lists and specifications to be used as standards by employees or contracting personnel in material processing, production and/or construction activities. • Analyzes plans and diagrams, or observes and makes notes on material processing, to determine material and material processing specifications, or specification for production or construction activities. • Prepares chart, graphs and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling and machine utilization.
Implementation (30%)
• Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project, such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing, in accordance with engineering disciplines of staff. • Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design and test opportunities. • Directs integration of technical activities and products.
Maintenance of System (10%) • An experienced project engineer may have responsibility for Contract Engineers or Field Contractor’s Labor. • Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements and related specifications. • Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications and drawing releases.
Miscellaneous (10%) • Controls expenditures within authorized limitations of project budget. • Prepares interim AFE and completion project reports. • Participate in Budgeting process; initiate cost savings, concepts and ideas.
