Job Description
Our client, a large food processor, is searching for a
District Sales Leader, to be based in the Simi Valley area.
The District Sales Leader will lead all account, people and route development for the assigned district to achieve sales and profit goals with a Direct Store Delivery.
- Establish sales strategy and tactics for the district and communicate them to the sales team.
- Hire, build, motivate and develop a strong team of route sales people.
- Monitor progress against key performance indicators and address performance gaps.
- Conduct key account calls with Sales Leaders, new account calls, morning meetings with route sales representatives.
- Ensure that key policies and procedures are understood and followed. Implement corrective action when policy violations are discovered.
4-year degree. 3-5 years of sales experience in the food &/or beverage industry with a DSD environment. Excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
