Job Description
The Company Our client is a world-class manufacturer of food products. They are seeking a
Production Supervisor for their facility located nearby
Salt Lake City, Utah. The Opportunity The
Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading production operations. Key performance measures will include production schedule attainment, safety, cost effectiveness and achievement of product quality goals. This is a highly visible position for an aggressive and experienced production supervisor. Other responsibilities include:
Supervise the workforce and identify training needs. Develop core competencies. Support safety initiatives. Coordinate safety meetings and training. Ensure adherence with the company’s quality and sanitation system program. Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and company policy. Lead continuous improvement teams. Ability to work various shifts including nights and weekends as required.
Requirements
BS in Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Science or Management. 5 years experience in a food manufacturing environment. Supervisory experience. Leadership and teamwork skills. Knowledge of dairy culture and fluid processes and procedures.
