Job Description
The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Quality Assurance Supervisor for an established Food Manufacturing Company located in Flemington, NJ. Currently seeking someone who will support the quality assurance department in the implementation of quality assurance systems and identify quality related issues. Qualified individual will report quality related trends to the organization, while supporting the plant's objectives of safety, quality, efficiency, productivity and customer service. The QA Supervisor will lead in operator training and business unit quality performance assessments and provide technical expertise to business units in troubleshooting quality related problems as well as perform all bench work analysis according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and standard methods. Candidate will write SOP’s for equipment calibration and testing procedures performed by the quality laboratory as well as assist in maintaining compliance with all food safety and quality programs including training and auditing within the plant facility. Candidate will also communicate quality results (weight control, pH, HOLDS, viscosity, etc.) on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to the business unit and the organization. REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Candidates for the Quality Assurance Supervisor position MUST HAVE a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Food Science or equivalent AND at least 4 years of Quality Assurance supervisory experience; dairy experience preferred. Candidate must have budgeting/business planning skills. Candidate must also have highly developed communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, coupled with organizational sensitivity, and the ability to influence others.
