Job Description
Duties: -This position has the overall responsibility to design, execute, analyze, interpret and report results of sensory/consumer research studies in support of S&T programs. -Guide the product development process by providing sound scientific information. -Evaluates and recommends sensory approaches that will best meet the project and business objectives. -Seeks emerging research methods and technologies and determines the feasibility/applicability to research needs. -Operates within a multidisciplinary team structure with frequent colleague interaction. -Collaborate as a member of cross-functional S&T teams to achieve project objectives that meet the business needs. -Provide leadership in evaluating flavor house submissions to provide feedback on the modification of sensory attributes based on personal and team experience with the flavors and consumer insights. -Recommend and design sensory and consumer tests to provide Project Teams with sound information on which to base decisions that move projects to successful completion. -Coordinate studies, including screener and questionnaire development, fieldwork supplier management and data interpretation. -Create and present accurate, impactful and actionable reports and presentations to internal clients with conclusions and recommendations resulting from the research findings. -Work cooperatively with other functional groups such as Marketing and Marketing Research to achieve project objectives. -Identify and create opportunities for sharing relevant knowledge and information among colleagues.
