Job Description
Our client is a Fortune 500 Consumer packaged Goods Manufacturer looking for top talent in the Electrical Controls field.

Qualifications: BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and relevant engineering experience. •Familiarity with companies’ standard plant control and information platforms and architecture (Allen-Bradley, Wonderware Active Factory /Archestra, MQIS) •Knowledge of Batch Processing and Packaging systems •Knowledge of electrical systems and standards including NEC, NFPA, and OSHA electrical standards •Experienced in project engineering; ability to develop and execute projects on time, within budget and which meet performance criteria •Demonstrated skills in executing concurrent assignments •Ability to develop business cases for controls automation and MQIS capital projects •Experience and advanced abilities with configuring and troubleshooting PLC’s, Servos, and SCADA systems •Experience developing PLC ladder logic and HMI programming for the following platforms: Allen-Bradley SLC500, PLC5, ControlLogix, and Allen-Bradley HMI’s •Experience developing Wonderware InTouch applications •Experience developing applications in the Wonderware Application Server and Archestra environments •Experience developing servo drive programming applications •Experience with Industrial Ethernet and Communications Networks •Experience configuring Allen-Bradley DeviceNet and ControlNet networks. •Experience with power monitoring / power distribution infrastructure and energy management systems •Effective project presentation skills Accountabilities: •Identify, develop, and execute automation and controls projects / cost savings initiatives •Ensure effective implementation of all assigned Capital and FME driven projects, executed to scope and in compliance with applicable company and Regulatory standards •Provide consulting and review of all capital project electrical design and programming efforts •Contribute to and support CIS standards efforts •Maintain a current knowledge of latest technology and application of control and information systems •Develop a comprehensive 3 - 4 year control strategy for the Plant •Develop controls applications (i.e. design and programming) in-house where appropriate •Provide technical direction to the Electrical Maintenance Group on FME driven projects •Provide controls systems trouble-shooting support as required
