Responsibilities As a Production Supervisor/Team Leader, you will use your strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and lead Team Members to a high level of self-direction while managing production demands and all aspects of the change process. You display a strong sense of urgency, are decisive and results focused. You have demonstrated abilities in the areas of problem solving, data collection and analysis, planning and administration as well as the achievement of organizational safety, quality and productivity objectives.
Requirements Proficiency with automated process/packaging technology; quality control methodologies and health/safety program compliance are essential requirements. Must have experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, the ability to train and prefer SAP experience. Candidate must have flexibility to cover 2nd or 3rd shift. Potential candidates must have a degree in the area of Engineering, Operations Management or Food Sciences or equivalent job experience. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's degree. A minimum of 3 years experience in a Food manufacturing setting, in a leadership role is preferred. Candidate must demonstrate personal initiative and accountability in regards to daily operations and special projects. Candidate must be willing to work off shift
