Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Deliver sales and profitability growth targets as owner of Fresh Preserving franchise P&L. a. Develop and gain management alignment to annual business plan -- both marketing strategies and financials. b. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver sales revenue growth targets and margin improvement. c. Maintain marketing budget planning, management and delivery of goal. d. Manage business reporting, including monthly dashboards, business analysis and regular management reviews.

2. Build leadership Fresh Preserving brands that consumers trust and embrace as their own, with strong brand equities and differentiated product lines. a. Develop brand equity vision, footprint and positioning, and drive into packaging and marketing communications. b. Drive brand trial and loyalty through advertising, promotions, PR and online marketing. c. Pursue and obtain consumer insights that provide competitive advantage via market research activities. d. Develop promotion plans that increase retail merchandising and in-store excitement. e. Create packaging solutions that enhance consumer appeal, shelf presence, and sustainability.

3. Lead creation of innovation that drives revenue and profitability growth, and enhances brand equity. a. Develop brand expansion vision and specific product development plans. b. Leverage deep consumer and customer insights to generate new product concepts, meeting pipeline goals. c. Drive new product concepts through development and commercialization to exceed revenue goals. d. Manage product mix and product lifecycles to deliver optimal financial returns. e. Collaborate closely with planning and supply chain to reduce costs and inefficiencies, improving margin.

4. Collaborate with Sales and Trade Marketing organizations to achieve strong retail programs and customer delight. a. Participate in forecasting and planning activities to ensure customer service and OTD goals are met. b. Liaise with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure appropriate inventory and shared alignment to objectives. c. Develop strong in-store programs, including shelf planograms and displays, to drive growth. d. Develop promotions that deliver merchandising growth. e. Coordinate with Trade Marketing in/out product offerings as appropriate for customer- specific promotions. f. Develop collateral materials, product samples, sell-in presentations to support Sales meetings and Field.

5. Be a leader in the organization. a. Supervise Associate Brand Manager(s) and Fresh Preserving Community Manager, and other team members as appropriate, taking accountability for their growth and development. b. Raise level of understanding across organization of our consumers, our brands, and the external marketplace. c. Be an advocate for diversity, for creating culture of winning, and for compliance with key processes used to govern the business. d. Establish and maintain effective working relationships, building teamwork with cross- functional partners. Qualifications Requires Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline and five to seven years' prior marketing experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry. MBA is preferred. Experience with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen), category management tools, and shipment data (such as in SAP) a strong plus. Comprehensive knowledge of administrative and management functions such as planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling
