Job Description
My client, a major food and beverage producer, is seeking a
Industrial Services Maintenance Team Leader for their operation in the Lexington, KY area.
This position is responsible for the direct supervision of a team of mechanics in a high speed food production environment. Position requires the ability to make quick decisions and set proper priorities to minimize downtime and keep a large production area up and running efficiently. Must be able to work in a wide variety of environments, work off shifts, and must work overtime.
Requirements · Supervise the maintenance of production equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and experience with similar equipment. · Proper utilization of maintenance personnel to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operation of equipment. · Review PM program and monitor schedules on existing equipment, as well as assist in developing PM programs on new equipment. · Coordinate parts and labor for assigned areas during any scheduled plant shutdown. · Document reoccurring equipment breakdowns and develop methods and programs to help predict breakdowns.
Qualifications · Previous experience in high- speed food production is preferred. · Four year degree required in an engineering field. · 5 years of experience in a supervisor role. · Must be able to work off shift. · Utilities background a plus. · Refrigeration experience a plus.
